TT Bus and Rail Information


This year on race days a special service will operate from Port St Mary to the Grandstand and the TT course.

Service TT7 departs Port St Mary via Port Erin, Shore Road, Castletown By Pass and Ballasalla to the Grandstand. This bus then operates the TT6 journey from the Grandstand via the TT Course to Ramsey. The only stops for boarding in Port St Mary are the harbour shelter and Port St Mary school layby. The ONLY on-bus fares on this service are either a 1 day Go Saver or 1 day Go Explore ticket. Preloaded GO Saver and Go Explorers accepted. For return after racing use TT6 to Douglas then standard services back South.

Saturday 3, Tuesday 6, Wednesday 7, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 June - Roads close 1000 depart Port St Mary at 07:30

Sunday 4 June - Roads close 1230 depart Port St Mary at 10:00.

Southern 100 Races

When the Billown Circuit (Southern 100) Castletown to Ballabeg is in use, buses will only run between Douglas, the Airport and the Square in Castletown (passing the Steam Railway Station). There will be some buses operating between Douglas and Port St Mary via Foxdale (not serving the Airport, Castletown or Ballasalla).  Details here.

The Steam Railway will operate as normal.
